Sedona

A few weeks ago we went on a graduation trip to Sedona, AZ. My parents gave us the trip for Brady graduating. It was a full week and we had sooo much fun. The hotel room was really nice, bigger then our current place of residence. We actually headed to Phoenix a few days before we could check into our room in Sedona. We registered our new(used) car in Page on the way down then stayed in Phoenix for 2 nights. Brady had a job interview for Arizona Teaching Fellows. It was to teach Biology in an underserved high school in Yuma. We found out a few days after the interview that he got the job. The only problem was that we'd have to move to Phoenix for training by the 29. That's in 2 days! Brady really needs to spend most of the summer studying for the MCAT and we decided if we took the job we would be putting medical school on the backburner. So we've been looking for other opportunities that he could start in July or August. Anyways after 2 days in Phoenix we headed to Sedona. It is so pretty there and we plan on heading back sometime for another trip. The houses there are gorgeous. We both love southwest style/modern homes and that is what they all are. All the colors of the homes blend in with the colors of the land. Red, green, tan, brown, grey. So pretty! We hung out at the hotel a lot, swam, watched movies, took naps, went on hikes, explored the town. It was fun and relaxing. We headed to Vegas afterwards and surprised my mom for Mother's day. My brother generously offered to get us new tires and wheels for our new Scion so we got that done Monday and headed home Tuesday.  It's always hard to leave from a trip but nice to come home.
What ya see from the Page DMV. Not a bad view of Lake Powell!

Brady hung Miller's stroller from this sign holder although you can't really tell.
We took this tiny, cheap stroller on our trip so we had more space. Miller kept his left leg up almost the whole time, not sure why. He's a funny guy.
Chapel of the Holy Cross. So pretty!
 View from the top.
 Can you see the eagle?

 Cool store in town.

 Hike time!

Little man fell asleep on the hike.
Favorite picture of little man so far.

Miller loves getting his picture taken. He always sees to strike a pose.
He does this whenever he can. Watching me get ready.
